Viking Leather Turnshoes 

Instructor: Ruadhnait inghean Ruaidhri 

We will be making individualized patterns for turnshoes and going over construction methods of shoes. 

Please bring your own leather to use. You will need a roughly 10″x 16″ piece of leather for the uppers, and a piece of 10″x10″ veggie tan sole leather. You can find leather from vendors such as Maine Line and Tandy Leather.

Medieval Glove Making 

Instructor: Geloira de Sancto Johanne 

Come learn how to make a medieval glove. We will learn basic stitches and make a felt slider that you can use as a pattern to create a pair of gloves. Each student will leave with a felt pattern, a spool of linen thread, a leather thimble, a three pack of leather needles and beeswax.

Leather Bottle Making

Learn to craft a period leather bottle cup or flask.
